| Cheesy decals? Yech. No sir, I don't like 'em. That's why I don't use 'em. It's one of those little details that makes the difference between a nice looking bike and a really great looking bike. At least that's what I think, and if you think so too, then we agree. Ever since the very first Velvet frame there have been no cheesy decals. The lettering is painted on by Del The Magnificent. Okay, I added "the magnificent" but that's pretty much how I think of him. He paints the lettering on the frame in multiple coats, sanding carefully between each one and then clear coating, sanding some more, and clear coating again so you can barely feel the transition in the surface finish. It looks great, won't peel off, and gives us a huge number of color options to choose from. It doesn't matter if you choose a base powder coat or a wet paint option, the letters are done the same way.
